Our most complete course prepares you to give compassionate, professional care. You'll learn personal care, patient management and emotional support for infants, the elderly and people living with Alzheimer's, dementia or paralysis. Theory is taught by registered Nursing Sisters one full day a week, followed by 168 hours of practical experience in a frail-care facility.

Questions About Training

How do the online courses work?

Once you've enrolled, you get access to your course on the Domestic Angels app. Lessons are short videos with downloads and checklists. You can study at any time, pause and rewind, and go back to any lesson later.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. Every course ends with a certificate once you complete it. For the Advanced Caregiver Course, the certificate is issued after you pass the examinations and complete your 168 practical hours.

Where are the face-to-face courses held?

Face-to-face First Aid & CPR training takes place at our venue in Randburg. The Advanced Caregiver Course runs in Gauteng, Pinetown (KZN), George and Cape Town.

What does the R200 yearly renewal cover?

Renewing your membership keeps your access to every update to your courses, and to other free courses as we add them.

I'm an employer. Can I enrol my housekeeper or nanny?

Yes. Send us your employee's name and the course you'd like them to take, and we'll handle the enrolment. It's a practical way to invest in someone who already works in your home.

Does training help me get placed by Domestic Angels?
